Item Description
This cover was used locally in Toronto in 1946 franked by a 3-cent KGVI rose violet issue of 1943, Scott 252, tied by a 'Conserve Coal, Save One Ton in Two' slogan machine cancellation.The illustrated corner card reads:

Opened by lifting, the backflap is un-sealed and intact. A little machine cancel set off verso. No contents or backstamps.
