Item Description

This cover was mailed locally in Toronto, Canada in 1937 franked by a precancelled 1c green KGV issue of 1935, Scott 217, tied by a machine cancellation. The precancel code '4530' was used at Toronto.

Content is a typed invitation to the Annual Women's Association Meeting from the Walmer Road Baptist Church.

Opened by lifting, the backflap has a small tear but is otherwise unsealed and intact. Top right and left edge crease (see scan). No backstamps.

The cover in the scan is the one you will receive; light horizontal line seen running across some images is scanner artifact.
