This Unaddressed First Day cover was franked by the Centenary of Hawke's Bay Province set, Scott 323-325, all of which are tied to the cover by a November 3rd,1958 Auckland circular date stamp.

The cachet depicts Hawke's Bay with an inset picture of missionary, explorer & politician, William Colenso.

The backflap is un-sealed and intact. No contents or backstamps.
