UNITED STATES SCOTT #146 2 CENT JACKSON 1870 OG

Unused, with what appears to be original gum, although darkened considerably, and with network of cracks and crinkles in the gum. Gum is disturbed over about 50% of back, roughened and dulled. I see no sign of droplets or gum on the perfs, but plenty of free threads of paper from the stamp, indicating it is original gum, also. There are several spots of stain on the upper 1/3 of the stamp, it has come in contact with possibly another stamp and picked up some sort of matter. You can see some traces of the same color as the spots in one of the lower corners of the back. The color and condition of the stamp is very good, it is quite attractive
