Item Description

SCV $1.00 (2020). Block of four 10-cent stamps commemorating the bicentennial of the United States Postal Service (USPS) in MNH, F-VF condition. The stamps are in post office fresh condition, so no flaws noted. Perforations are fully intact (i.e. no separations or folds are noted), the gum is immaculate & shiny, the stamps are crisp & their colors are bright. The block of stamps depict (in left-to-right, top-to-bottom order) the following types of equipment used by the USPS over its 200-year history: old & new locomotives (SC #1573), stagecoach & trailer truck (SC #1542), satellite for transmitting mailgrams (SC #1575) and early mail plane & jet (SC #1574). Selvage is attached along the bottom of the block of stamps. Photogravure, water-activated gum, tagged, perf 11 x10½.
