Item Description

SCV $1.50 (2018). Strip of five 32-cent Aloha Shirts general issue stamps in cancelled/used, VF condition. No flaws noted. The stamps have been cancelled in black ink, but have not been used to post mail (i.e. the self-adhesive backing is still on the stamps). The stamps are crisp & their colors are bright. Selvage is attached to the right of the rightmost stamp in the strip, to the left of the leftmost stamp and above all of the stamps. Plate number 'V1111111' is printed on the selvage above the leftmost & rightmost stamps. The strip includes stamps, in left-to-right order, printed with shirts that depict the following: surfers & palm trees (SC #4592), surfers (SC #4593), bird of paradise (SC #4594), Kilauea (SC #4595) and fossil fish, fish & starfish (SC #4596). A barcode is seen on the back of the leftmost selvage that is printed with the number '115100'. Photogravure, self-adhesive, serpentine die cut 11.
