Item Description

SCV $1.20 (2014). Block of four 1-cent Washington & Greene Army commemorative stamps in UNUSED, F-VF condition. A hinge is seen on the back of the stamp (used to reinforce perforations?), otherwise no flaws noted. A piece of selvage is missing from the bottom of the block, but this does not affect the condition of the stamps. Gum is immaculate & shiny, gum breaker bars are distinct, the stamps are crisp & their color is bright. Perforations have not separated although the center vertical line of perforation are weak. Selvage is attached to the right side of the block of stamps & to the bottom of the block. Plate number '21600' is printed vertically on the selvage that is attached at the right. Rotary press printing, water-activated gum, no watermark, perf 11 x10-1/2.
