Item Description

SCV $2.00 (2014). Block of four 3-cent stamps commemorating the fighting at Iwo Jima in MNH, VF condition. No flaws are noted on the stamps, although hinge marks are seen on the back of the selvage attached to the top of the block of stamps and a horizontal crease is seen across the selvage at the top. The gum is immaculate & shiny (except on the selvage), gum breaker bars are distinct, perforations are fully intact (i.e. no separations are noted), the stamps are crisp & their color is bright. Selvage is also attached along the left side of the block of stamps. Rotary press printing, water-activated gum, perf 10-1/2 x11.
