Item Description

United States, Scott #2481, used(o), 1992 definitive, Pumpkinseed Sunfish, the fish is a North American freshwater fish of the sunfish family; the pumpkinseed's natural range in North America is from New Brunswick down the east coast to South Carolina, and then runs inland to the middle of North America, and extends through Iowa and back through Pennsylvania; Pumpkinseeds have a small body that is shaped much like that of a pumpkinseed, giving them their common name; 45 cents, perforated: 11, lithography and engraved, multicolored, Scott 2019 catalog value: 25¢. Very slightly off-centered, large, light, three-quarter circular, black-inked, single-rimmed, hollowed-out, socked-on-the-nose cancellation with some mailing details over main image, the lightness of the cancel and the hollowed-out effect leaves the main image remarkably clear, good perforations. This is not a 'bait-and-switch' offer; the stamp you see will be the one you receive.

I will send the purchase by US first class mail, since the relatively low value of the stamp does not warrant signature or tracking mail. Hence the buyer assumes risk of loss or non-delivery. I will keep a scan of my mailing to verify that the correct mailing address was used.
