Item Description

United States, Scott #4625, used(o), 2012, Heart Health Issue, the postal service, in conjunction with the U.S. Surgeon General, issued this stamp as part of an awareness program to stir in the public the importance of maintaining a healthy heart; coronary heart disease is the leading cause of death among women and men in the U.S. each year - but this doesn't have to be the situation for many of causes can be prevented by making just a few simple lifestyle changes; stamp art, which features a bright yellow sun disc, a leafy green tree icon, an active man, a blue swirl of a sky, and a bright red apple evokes the feelings of wellness and vitality that come from physical exercise, a key element in controlling and preventing coro­nary heart disease; issued as a forever stamp at a counter price of 45 cents, photogravure printed by Avery Dennison, issued with non-water soluble self-adhesive gum, serpentine die cut simulated 11 perforations, multicolored on a yellow background, Scott 2025 Catalog Value: 25¢, slightly off-centered (very fine), light, black-inked, wavy line cancellation over the top half of the stamp and over the main image, stamp has a mottled surface and vertical surface cracks as part of its design, good perforations, stamp was lifted from the mailing envelope using the Bestine solvent and placed on a piece of black trimmed card stock for an attractive and uniform album appearance, centering and mounting warrants a selling price premium. This is not a 'bait-and-switch;' the stamp you see will be the one you receive.

I will send the purchase by US first class mail, since the relatively low value of the stamp does not warrant signature or tracking mail.  Hence the buyer assumes risk of loss or non-delivery.  I will keep a scan of my mailing to verify that the correct mailing address was used.
