Item Description
United States, Scott #5680, used(o), 2022, Ninth and most recent stamp in the Global Mail Circular stamp series that began in 2013, stamp shows an African Daisy (Osteospermum), native to southern Africa; it is widely available in U.S. nurseries and makes a colorful addition to any garden; the flowers open in the morning sun, with blooms in a variety of colors, including purple, pink, yellow, white, and the orange as shown on the stamp, the flowers have smooth, flat petals and dark centers like a typical white and black daisy, forever global mail postage rate ($1.30) for first class mail less than 1 ounce, offset lithography printed by Ashton Potter United States (APU), serpentine die cut rouletted perforations, issued non-water soluble self adhesive panes, stamp has a "USPS" inverted microprinting on the 120° right petal edge as positioned for the photograph, multicolored, Scott 2025 Catalog Value: 60¢, nicely centered (superb), light, half counter-clockwise turned, black-inked, circle and bars duplex cancel, from bottom to top, a half circle single rimmed cancel at center bottom, leading upward to a series of thick vertical black bars cancel through the middle of the stamp, there is also a scattered pattern of light black cancel marks on the left side of the stamp light, the lightness of all the cancel marks leaves the main image remarkably clear, good perforations, stamp was lifted from the mailing envelope and placed on a piece of black card stock for an attractive and uniform appearance with other stamps of the period similarly mounted, centering and mounting warrants a selling price premium. This is not a 'bait-and-switch;' the stamp you see will be the one you receive. Please review my terms of sale. If you are not ordering from the United States, there is a $US1.65 additional postage expense that needs to be added to the price of the stamp. If you are ordering from the United States, there is only a $US0.73 added postage expense. Also, if you make additional purchases from my offerings, they can all go in one mailing at no extra shipping expense for the added purchases. I will send the purchase by US first class mail, since the relatively low value of the stamp does not warrant signature or tracking mail. Hence the buyer assumes risk of loss or non-delivery. I will keep a scan of my mailing to verify that the correct mailing address was used.
By way of reference, I am an American Philatelic Society member (195176) and an American Stamp Dealers Association (ASDA) member. Thank you for looking, and I hope this is the perfect stamp to fill that gap in your collection.
