Item Description

SCV $1.00 (2020). Block of four 10-cent stamps commemorating the bicentennial of the United States Postal Service in MNH, VF condition. No flaws noted. Perforations are fully intact (i.e. no separations are noted), the gum is immaculate & shiny, the stamps are crisp & their colors are bright. The block of stamps depict (in left-to-right, top-to-bottom order) the following USPS advances during its 200 years of service: stagecoach & trailer truck (SC #1572), old & new locomotives (SC #1573), early mail plane & jet (SC #1574) and satellite for transmission of mailgrams (SC #1575). Selvage is attached along the left side of the block of stamps and plate numbers '36333' & '36334' are printed vertically on the selvage. Giori press printing, water-activated gum, perf 11.
