Item Description

Scott 2550; performing arts series featuring cole palmer, rm cachets cachet, stamp configuration is a single, fdc, flap is open and cover is un-addressed. Oversized envelope, 7.5 x 4.0 inches

Rm cachets were produced by roger martinson who was a classical music buff with a strong interest in philately. Roger provided the artwork. His first cachet was for the scott 2090 mccormack stamp and there after for stamps that were issued that related to music. Typically he produced 250 or less covers for each issue. Previously roger had been in partnership with phil shaprio and produced cachets under the name philmart.
