Item Description

SCV $29.00 (2020). Pane of thirty-five 29-cent stamps commemorating seven Rock & Roll / Rhythm & Blues legends in MNH, F-VF condition. No flaws noted on the stamps, although a small tear is seen on the selvage at the lower left-hand corner of the sheet. The gum is immaculate & shiny, perforations are fully intact (i.e. no separations or folds are noted), the stamps are crisp & their colors are bright. This is a commemoration edition pane and a "Legends of American Music" paper sleeve is included with the stamps. The panes have plate number 'S111111' printed horizontally in four locations, on the selvage next to each of the stamps at the four corners of the pane. Photogravure, water-activated gum, tagged, perf 10.
