_one of many civil war era stamp issues {~1861-1869 period} that features either a distinctive handcarved {wood-cut} fancy cancel design or a recognizable contemporary post office handstamp marking.***  _

_also, a significant number of these fancy cancel examples are recognized and listed in the popular skinner-eno [s-e] catalogue that provides a detailed tracing and corresponding reference number for most known unique designs.  _

_unfortunately time limitations preclude performing and measurement comparisons necessary to identify each design by its assigned s-e number._

Beane's personnel collection, including his renowned award-winning exhibits

The Buyer must return the item as received, including shipping envelope and packaging materials...especially when the buyer is claiming damaged incurred in transit...to satisfy USPS claim requirements. The Buyer is also requested to inform the Seller via eBay email that an item is being returned for a refund; and a reason should be cited if damage in transit has occurred.
