Some stamps of this era appearing to be imperforated are actually perforated stamps (particularly ones with natural straight edges) that have had perforations trimmed on some sides.  genuine imperforate singles cannot be verified, but the trimmed stamps frequently have narrower margins than genuine imperforates.  these stamps are suspect and are sold strictly “as is”.  2024 scott cat. Val. For the pair is $52.50, if genuine.
