U.S. Scott 231, the 2 cent Columbian Exposition issue paying the 2 cent first-class rate, on an attractive two-sided advertising cover for The Wooldridge Fertilizer Co. in Baltimore, Maryland. The cover was mailed from Baltimore on May 23, 1894 and has a Baltimore duplex cancel with an Alexandria, Virginia receiving mark on the reverse. The cover has the fertilizer company's corner card on the front and the reverse is completely covered with text providing the company address and information about its products.Seller Information
