U.S. Scott 810 (3 copies) Prexies/Prexys with Scott 899 and 900 Defense Issue on a registered return receipt cover mailed from the War Department in Atlanta, Georgia to Miami, Florida on a government penalty envelope. The stamps paid the15 cent registration fee for an item with no indemnity value and the 3 cent rerturn receipt fee. Mailed in Atlanta on January 24, 1943 and received in Miami on January 25, 1943. Cover was roughly opened at top (see scans).
