Item Description

Here are US Stamps by the letter.  In this collection, you will find a representative of each of the nondenominated letter stamps used by the Post Office to transition from one first class rate to another.  The trend started in 1978 with the 15 cent A Orange Eagle and continued through to 1998 with the 33 cent H Uncle Sam Hat stamps.  Eight different rate changes starting at 15 cents and ending up at 33 cents.  You will receive a mint never hinged plate block of each letter; a mint never hinged booklet pane and a mint never hinged line pair or plate number strip of the coil representative.   One of each type of stamp (regular issue, booklet pane, and coil) of each of the rate change stamps.  This is by no means a complete collection since the rate changes in later years included other rates outside the first class rate, but it is a great collection none the less.  The pictured stamps are the stamps you will receive.
