New Amsterdam yet with two-line 'Not in Special Delivery Mail / Post Office New York U.S.A.' handstamp. Special Delivery or Express Service in England was 20 cents at this time so in effect this cover was overpaid for usage. Scarce auxiliary marking / usage! Sent 1931 (stamps overlapping, top right stamp damaged), opened roughly at backflap with tearing and resealed, otherwise light general wear & toning. Fair-Fine condition.
