Item Description
This stamp is in Fine/Very Fine condition and is used with heavy black circle of wedges fancy cancel. I noted a few short perfs as well. This is the "D" grill of 1868 with clear grill measuring 15 x 18 pts and the ridges are vertical, making this the "D" grill, whereas the elusive "Z" grill can have same measurements but the ridges are horizontal.Catalog value of this stamp is $1,050.00 according to Scott 2023.
