Item Description

INTERNATIONAL Postal Card; THREE; 2c Blue International Card, (Scott #UX6), all properly used to Germany, 1891-1897, first is a beautiful card used from Cincinnati to Rostock with BOLD receiver on face, then one with Brooklyn NY Oct 6 1894 machine cancel to Zschopau (reverse has some abrasions), and finally one to Rostock with NO Country NAME in the address! Odd usage, the last card has two very unobtrusive staple holes below the cancel, interesting grouping, Fine-VF.

Catalogs $75.

I have overlapped the cards so you can see the shades. I think the top one might be dark enough to call UX6a.

The last two cards both have a pencil "3" in the UL corner. These did not come from the same dealer, so I am wondering if it means something . . .
