Item Description

Venezuela, Scott #C499 (Catálogo de Estampillas #942), used (o), air mail, Venezuelan States, 1953, Arms of Portuguesa and stylized Forest Trees and Lumber, photogravure printed by Courviosier SA, Switzerland, perforated: 11½, 10 bolivars, violet, Scott 2019 catalog value: $15.00. Nicely centered, double strike cancels, both quarter circular, black-inked, double-rimmed, broken-up corner cancellations, one at the lower right, the second at the lower left, with both clear of the main image, sound back, hinge remnant, good perforations; centering and image free offset cancels warrant a selling price premium. This is not a 'bait-and-switch' offer. The stamp you see will be the one you receive.
