Providence Unused Previously Glued To Page On Top Of Stamp 80% Original Gum HOLE VISIBLE MID CENTER!!This Poster Stamp Was Issued By The Maine Creamery Company Of Providence, Rhode Island, As A Promotional Label For Its Ice Cream Product, Featuring The Patriotic Slogan “The National Dessert.” The Design Centers On A Bold Illustration Of A Stylized American Bald Eagle With Outspread Wings, Clutching A Shield Bearing The United States Flag Motif. Behind The Eagle Is A Pink Mold Of Ice Cream Served On A Decorative Dish, Highlighting The Product itself as a celebratory emblem.
