This 2-cent carmine rose/buff Benjamin Franklin Postal Card issue of 1951, Scott UX38, was mailed from Whiskeytown, California (on the first day of this Post Office name), to Coffeyville, Kansas on July 1st, 1952. The indicia was cancelled by a 4-bar killer handstamp.A purple, double oval, hand stamped cachet reads:

July 1, 1952
Post Office / Name Changed / From Schilling
to
Whiskeytown, Calif.'
Verso is blank. Small corner crease top left (see scans).
