Happy Easter Dear Mother, I want to quickly send you a few lines this Easter Sunday evening. We were generously gifted these days by the N.S. Women's League. I have boxes with cookies and 19 eggs, and believe it or not, I'm hardly eating anything right now, partly out of worry. My stomach isn't quite right, but it will pass, and things will improve. So now, to calm things down, the nurses are very, very kind and support me in every way, which is worth a lot. If you could see me, how emaciated I look, but I do get my food delivered to my bedside. So, next, many plans might have to change, then we will see. So be reassured. Otherwise, for now, I feel quite well when I'm not eating anything right now. How are things otherwise with you all? Did you have a good Easter? One just asks around everywhere, dear, and has to be content with that. Otherwise, I want to once again impress upon your heart that you should take care of yourselves and look after your health. Then don't sew so much; when I come home, I don't want to have the house overrun by other people. I need my peace then. Now, with the postal check card for stockings, you can send them to me, but only if you haven't received the Christmas allotment yet. I agree with the insurance as you reported it; otherwise, we'll let that go for now. I will probably get news/a letter soon in the next few days.
