Meditative Philately
The main goal of Meditative Philately is to spread the art of meditative philately among the general public. We promote philately as a means of integral development rather than just an accumulation of stamps or intellectual knowledge.
According to meditative philately, the stamp serves as a tool to focus our attention and integrate dispersed mental activity. Each stamp serves as a tiny mandala in which our attention rests. Each seal is a visual mantra where we place the scattered rays of our attention. Our interaction with the philatelic material leads to introspection and concentration and finally becomes meditation. We provide all the philatelic materials necessary for the practice and offer guidance and support.
Meditative Philately was founded by Mr. José Luis Montecinos Lazcano, a knowledgeable philatelist, a dealer authorized by the American Philatelic Society, and a member of the following societies:

In addition, Mr. Montecinos, known by his readers as “Prabhuji”, is a recognized world authority on oriental philosophy and the author of more than 14 books about yoga and meditation.
