There's unisquare dot com. Not as good a platform, but it's free (no listing or final value fees), has a bulk uploader, and if buyers know to go there... bring it!

Speaking of misrepresentation, I notice a lot of "prominent" sellers making scans that are clearly altered to be brighter or have saturation adjusted to look "brighter" or stronger color than I suspect they really are. Anybody else notice this? Doct…

Blessings this Christmas, and hoping for a better New Year for everyone.
-
Very cool. I had not seen them before.

... but would add great classic philatelic flare to an art project!

Yeah, it disappeared one day. I tried to run an auction event then go upgrade select auctions to drive eyeballs (as you said, Dave) and found the options to upgrade were gone. I sent in a notice to Contact Us. They acknowledged it was gone, and they…

24 hours left. Ensure your bids are in!

I'm not blind. Auction upgrades are no longer available per HS Staff. Was this announced earlier? Did anyone else not get the memo? They say they are coming out with something new... well, how about releasing it before you cut everyone else off, eh?

Is the site doing anything for Aussie/Kiwi customers to warn them when they go to buy stamps from someone that they are not likely to get their packages for quite a long time? Is this already well understood in Oz - would it be advisable? If I get a…

I don't care one way or the other about the automatic feedback. perhaps would be nice if it got another category - Positive, Negative, Neutral and Automated? But one thing for sure... the automatic feedback triggers too soon. In this age of slow USP…

I heard horror stories where customers claimed non-delivery after too short a time (considering late deliveries being frequent these days). PayPal refunds (always takes buyer's side). Then they conveniently TURN OFF tracking (since they control it, …

Could there be a policy change coming where there are automatic positive feedbacks lefts if time has passed with no feedback activity (assumed positive)? Other sites do that. Is there another explanation?
-
Alan, I do know they do not like uninvited guests! Or perhaps you'll be sleeping with the walleyes!
-
Hi John. Try the Contact Us link and request a call?

It is still flying! Well, it was as of a few years ago at least. I've seen it in the air at Port Clinton airport a few years ago when I was camping there. See here: http://www.libertyaviationmuseum.org/collection/aircraft.html

I thought it would just be a pain to have to request the refund each time. But they refused to return fees for services they didn't even render and "sales" not even collected? RIDICULOUS!
-
Really? Yikes!

Thanks for the reply, Deborah. Sounds pretty asinine to me. And yet my listing still display the old language, and even if it's wrong there is no easy way to edit it. Would have to use bulk uploaded API, probably.
-
George, thanks for the thought. I am aware of the Edit function, but as I see it, the "Shipping Instructions" text field does not appear to be an editable field in the new system (item by item). Although I do have text in the field that it inherited…

Jaysper. I'm having the same issue as Deborah. Why reach out to just her? Just fix it please, or share the "secret" here or somewhere others with the problem can benefit/learn.
-
Has anyone figured out how to edit the Shipping Instructions in the listing? Yeah, I would say this rollout has been less than optimal.

And don't forget postage rates go up in August, too! For example, first class one ounce going to 58c.
-
Probably Scott #881.
-
Haha. Greg, you just gave me an idea... Just kidding!
-
Thanks Bonaparte. That was my first stop, actually. Love that resource.
-
Possible. It presents very neatly, but that doesn't mean anything if not recognizable.
-
Thanks Antje, and welcome! Come look at my store, I now have three items for sale! Ha ha ha!
-
Things are coming back, but slowly. My store is still a disaster, as are most others, I'm sure. I'll check back in an hour. Hopefully everybody has the ability to check your listings against inventory without too much difficulty! I plan to export my…

Just hoping the database isn't corrupted... that would be nasty.

Also, another note, if there was a bunch of auctions, sometimes the backlog can overwhelm some sellers who suddenly have 30+ orders to pack. Hard to do when you have another full time job. But good communication should serve both of you well, so I w…
