Vinogradov (1923–2003), scientist, Hero of Socialist LaborVladimir Vinogradov (1923–2003) was a scientist in the field of oil and gas industry, a Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor (1969), a Hero of Socialist Labor (1983).From 1951 to 1993, he worked at the Gubkin Moscow Institute of Oil and Gas Industry: he was a senior lecturer, an associate professor, the Dean of the Mining and Oil Faculty, and the Head of a Chair.In 1962-1993, Vinogradov was the Rector of the Institute, and since 1993, an Advisor to the Rector of the Gubkin Russian State University of Oil and Gas.
