A lucid, although odd, paragraph. Using punctuation, all the vowels at your disposal. And...it's Friday evening...so...no...I have no clue. More of a DUH moment right now.
DUH.......I guess I've beeeeeeeen distracted by the roaming herds of Maloneeeeeeeee's Beeeeeeeeeverrs trying to convince meeeeeee to buy an extended waranteeeeeeeee on my old car. You have way too much time on your hands ameeeeeeego.
It was proposed to me yesterday by someone that it should be konsidered that the letter "c" be eliminated from the English alphabet. It was argued that there are other letters extant that kan be used in its plase. I am kurious as the opinions of the wise and sage observants of this esteemed panel. What sayeth youse people?
In my college linguistics class they said that there's really only one vowel and just three or five consonants. After college I went on to linguini school, where I learned that there's only so many noodles on a plate...
By far the most interesting class I took in college was a study of the origins of the Indo-European languages. Didn't really deal with the languages themselves per se, but more of the ways different languages changed and were incorporated into each other and became "new" languages. Really cool class and an unusual sophomore literature topic.
Of course, my own dialect at the time mostly consisted of grunts and sad moans so one can only imagine my delight when I discovered the word "language" and the existence thereof. I think I've come a long way. Grunt!
