Robert, Selvage can be useful on certain modern Watermarked stamps, Especially British Commonwealth items. Scott is right to say leave it on and let the buyer decide if they want it.

Phil. I have had these Specimen stamps for some time and have been unable to find a price. Also If you would be kind enough to take a look at Scott No. 6 or Possibly 6d to tell me which one it actually is. I thank you in advance for any help. Harry

These stamps were used throughout the Levant most notably in Palestine, Lebanon, Syria and Cilicia. Also in Egypt w FPOs and I would guess Jordan which is probably the scarcest usage. Hope this helps.

Here is what I think is a genuine Mihon Specimen Marking on the first issues. Notice they are handwritten. Any printed addition to the centers can only be classified at best as Reprints or Imitations.
